Download the personal invoice is to collect payment for either a freelance service that was provided, a product sold, a loan given, or any other individual need. The invoice should directly outline the reason for the payment due along with a list outlining the specific line items. Once the subtotal is calculated, any taxes or shipping costs (for products) should be added to get the total amount due by the recipient. How to Make in Adobe PDF and Microsoft Word

Step 1 – Download in Adobe PDF (.pdf) or Microsoft Word (.doc).

Step 2 – Heading – Enter your company name or your name at the top, followed by your contact information and address.

Step 3 – Bill To – Write the name of the company or person you performed the work for, any contact information needed under that, and indicate whom to make checks/payments payable to to the right. Include the invoice date and number as well.

Step 4 – Table – For each type of service you performed, enter a different row. Include the quantity/number of hours to the left, the rate to the right, and then calculate the total for each service in the Price column. Add each figure in the Price column to get the subtotal, and then add any taxes or shipping to get the grand total. Leave a contact name and number at the bottom to complete the invoice.

How to Make in Microsoft Excel

Step 1 – Download in Microsoft Excel (.xls).

Step 2 – Heading – Begin by writing your name or company’s name at the top followed by the corresponding address. Then enter the invoice date and number at the right.

Step 3 – Sold To – Enter the customer’s name, phone number, and email here, and then enter the customer’s address to the right.

Step 4 – Table – Fill in each different service you performed on a different row, including the quantity to the left and the price to the right. This will give you the total for each service in the Extension column. The numbers in this column will combine to give you the subtotal. Enter any applicable tax below, which shows you the grand total after being added to the subtotal. Date and sign the invoice to complete it.
